Toby Trotter joined Team FCA in March 2007 as Area Representative for Greater Fort Worth with emphasis in the North Tarrant Area. Toby joins the FCA staff after a professional career in the football and baseball worlds.

From 2003-2006, he experienced great success in Major League Baseball Player Representation with Sosnick Cobbe Sports. In three years and drafts of representing players Toby secured three 1st round clients, one 2nd round client, three 3rd round clients, one 4th round client, and three 5th round clients among others with signing bonuses totaling over $7 million. Among his former clients, several are on major league rosters including Reds Center Fielder Jay Bruce and A's Infielder Cliff Pennington.

Three years previous to his work in representation Toby spent coaching football at the College level. In 2000, he helped start the Louisiana College Football program under Marty Secord, where Toby coached wide receivers. He then accepted a position as Defensive Secondary Coach and Football Recruiting Coordinator at Southern Nazarene University under Paul McGrady. In three years at SNU, Toby experienced great success on and off the field. He was a part of two nationally ranked defenses and continued to grow the program in national recruiting and development.

Toby was raised in Shawnee, Oklahoma and Oklahoma City. He attended Westmoore High School where he was Valedictorian, and played Wide Receiver for the Jaguars. He went on to graduate from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2000 with a degree in Public Relations and minor in Religion.

Toby has an extensive past with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He has been involved in FCA as an athlete, coach, non-coach volunteer and staff. Toby was discipled through junior high in FCA and led the Westmoore High School huddle as student president for two years. He was chosen as one of Oklahoma’s Elite Eight honoring FCA high school athletes. Professionally, Toby has aligned his college players and professional clients with the mission and influence of FCA through leading a huddle while on the football staff at SNU and placing his clients on platforms to share Christ through their influence.

Toby’s wife Cari is originally from Moore, Oklahoma and is a graduate of Oklahoma State University. She is a coach’s daughter and has been around FCA her entire life. Toby and Cari have a 2-year-old son, Cade Everett Trotter, named after Toby’s FCA Huddle leader, Coach and Mentor and a 6-month-old daughter, Ainsley Belle.
